Introduction
Berkhamsted School is an independent school in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. It follows the ‘diamond model’, with coed education in the Pre-Prep School, Prep School and Sixth Form, but independently between the ages 11-16. [1]
The core curriculum of maths, English and science is complemented with art, French, design & food, history, computing, geography, music, religious education, sport and drama.
The extensive programme of extracurricular activities further enriches the learning experience. Berkhamsted Prep School 7 Plus (7+) Admissions
All Year 3 applicants will sit entrance examinations. If you wish your child to be included in the 7+ assessments, you should complete and submit this registration form by the deadline in early January of the calendar year of entry.
The exam will assess your child’s skills in two areas of the curriculum: Maths and English. Please note that a progress report from your child’s current school will also be requested.
If you receive an offer of a place, you will be asked to complete and submit an Acceptance Form and pay a refundable deposit within four weeks of receipt of the offer.

The Berkhamsted Prep School 7 Plus (7+) exam consists of the following assessments:
