Open Mornings are held with the aim of familiarising prospective families with the school’s ethos and educational philosophy, as well as the campus’ features. Guided tours will help your daughter navigate facilities, while meetings with key staff members will allow you to ask questions of interest regarding the admissions process.
St Margaret’s School, Hampstead, 8 Plus (8+) Admissions
8+ is not the school’s standard point of entry, hence admission is only considered if there are places available. Under such circumstances, you will be asked to register your daughter, based on which she will be invited to sit assessments. The online registration form can be accessed through the website and should be submitted with a payment of a £100 fee.
The 8+ examinations test skills in two areas of the curriculum. If a place is offered, you will be expected to secure it with a payment of a £1,000 deposit. Please note that, as part of the entrance procedure, St Margaret’s may request a confidential reference from your daughter’s current school.
