Introduction
Founded in 1557, Hampton School is an independent day school for boys in Hampton, Greater London. It is considered one of the top-performing schools in the country, educating in line with superb standards and the motto Praestat Opes Sapientia (Wisdom surpasses wealth). [1]
The broad range of curricular opportunities allows the cohort to effectively engage in skill acquisition. Benefitting from high-quality teaching, pupils develop profound knowledge across a variety of disciplines, including science, engineering, humanities and modern languages.
The timetable of extras further supports pupils’ learning as they enthusiastically explore their talents and interests in collaboration with peers. Beekeeping, chess, coding, Eko Club and Tech Club are coupled with trips abroad, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme and community service opportunities to ensure that their growth is grounded in excellence, resulting in outcomes that are well beyond the national average. [2]
Educating the whole person, Hampton offers a welcoming community to students from diverse backgrounds, whether they be cultural, social or religious. This reputable establishment produces open-minded individuals who make sense of the world independently, championing the pursuit of a personal best as opposed to conforming to pre-defined expectations.
