Introduction
Tormead School is an independent day school for girls in Guildford, Surrey. Founded in 1905, it features an impressive number of spacious facilities. [1]
Tormead’s rigorous academic and non-academic provision stretches students’ abilities in parallel with their understanding of the world. The curriculum encompasses English, MFL, classics, mathematics, science, humanities, DT, PE and computer science, offering a broad education which allows girls to pursue specific academic goals with confidence. [2]
In terms of extracurriculars, the school is invested in developing pupils’ leadership skills and their understanding of their own and other cultures through regular DofE trips and expeditions.
