Open Evenings are held in June and September, welcoming all prospective families on campus for a day packed with purposeful activities. Tours of facilities will take place, typically led by one of Spires’ current pupils, and key staff members will be on hand to answer questions of interest. More details are available on this page.
The Spires College 11 Plus (11+) Admissions
The College offers up to 60 places to pupils who wish to sit the 11 Plus. The examinations will take place in September of the year preceding entry. To have your child considered for the test, you should complete and return the application form, found on the school’s website, by the deadline in early September. Please note that you must also complete the Common Application Form for your Local Authority by late October.
In the case of oversubscription, priority will be given to:
- Looked after children or children who were previously looked after;
- Pupils whose home address is inside the designated area;
- Pupils whose home address is outside of the designated area.

The Spires College 11+ exam consists of two papers testing:
- English
- Mathematics
