Introduction
Talbot Heath School is an independent day and boarding school for girls in Talbot Woods, Bournemouth, Dorset. Founded in 1886, Talbot Heath is a Church of England school and it is selective for entry. [1]

Talbot Heath School 11 Plus (11+) Admissions
The deadline for registrations for an 11+ place is in November of the year preceding entry. Entry is dependent upon performance in competitive examinations, along with quality reports and references from your child’s current school. There may also be an interview.
Successful candidates in the 11+ exams are typically offered a place in February/March. To secure it, you will be asked to pay a £1,100 deposit, refunded to you at the end of your child’s career at Talbot Heath School.
Talbot Heath School 11 Plus (11+) Scholarships and Bursaries
At 11+, Talbot Heath offers a number of scholarships, including in the areas of Academic ability, Music and Sports. These awards are typically worth 10-20% of fees. However, in exceptional cases, they can be valued at 50% of fees.
