St. James Senior Girls’ School 11 Plus Admissions Criteria
St. James Senior Girls’ School is a member of the London Consortium and follows its Agreed Code of Practice for admissions. The main entry point to St. James Senior Girls’ School is in Year 7 and admission is determined by student performance in the school’s entrance test, which is administered online.
However, the school does not select candidates solely on the basis of this test. Rather, prospective pupils will be asked to attend an interview, which is intended to help the school ensure that it can meet the student’s needs. How to Apply for 11 Plus Entry to St. James Senior Girls’ School
Before applying for a Year 7 place at St. James Senior Girls’ School, prospective families are encouraged to attend one of the school’s Open Events. These take place throughout the school year and need to be booked in advance.

The London Consortium uses an online examination format for 11+. Entry into Year 7 is through a bespoke, two-part assessment that covers the following areas:
- Part 1: Mathematics, Non-Verbal Reasoning, English and Verbal Reasoning
- Part 2: Problem-solving and analysis
The exam will not include a written component.
