Introduction
St Edward’s School is an independent, co-educational school in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Its site, Charlton Park, was a hunting lodge that belonged to Edward the Confessor, the sole English monarch to have been canonised.

To be considered for Year 7 entry, you should register your child with the school by submitting the registration form and paying the £75 fee. They will then be invited to sit a paper-based exam in the November preceding the year of entry. There may also be an interview.
As part of the admissions process, your child’s current-school reference will be requested, along with a copy of their most recent report.
On the basis of successful performance in the 11 plus and positive report and reference, you may receive an offer of a place, to be accepted by paying a deposit, refunded in your child’s last term at the school.

St Edward’s offers scholarships in the areas of Academic ability, Art, Drama, Music and Sports. There is also a means-tested Academic Bursary-Scholarship, valued at up to 100% of fees, which is awarded to exceptionally able Year 7 applicants.

- Non-Verbal Reasoning (45 minutes)
