Introduction

Kneller Hall School, formerly known as Radnor House School, is a co-educational, independent day school located in Twickenham, London. A beautiful Grade II listed building is at the heart of the magnificent 30-acre campus, which boasts a number of well-equipped, spacious facilities. 

The strong academic core, comprising Science, Humanities, English, Maths, MFL, Art, PE and PSHEE, is complemented by a broad programme of co-curricular activities. 

Trips to museums, theatres and the Houses of Parliament, as well as overseas expeditions to Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Iceland, Germany and France, take place on a regular basis. The school is also known for the success of its pupils across a number of different sports such as athletics, diving, football, hockey, rugby and rowing.

Aiming to produce exceptionally well-educated children within its genuinely caring and nurturing environment, Kneller Hall maintains close relationships with parents and sets high standards of conduct and learning. Independent thought and self-reflection are highly encouraged in the classroom, whilst beyond it, pupils learn about communication, collaboration and empathy, and hence proceed to build lasting friendships.

Open Events for Kneller Hall School 11 Plus (11+) Entry

Open Day includes an address by the Head, followed by a tour of the school and meetings with the academic staff. Throughout the day, members of the admissions staff will be on hand to answer questions of interest to your child. You can view the school’s exact location on the map below:

The school admits pupils on the grounds of successful performance in an interview and entrance examinations, as well as a satisfactory reference and written report from the applicant’s current school.

To register your child for the 11 plus, you should submit a registration form along with a copy of their school report by the deadline in late October of the year preceding entry. The assessments are held in November.

During the ‘Beyond the Classroom’ sessions, which take place in January, the school informally assesses pupils who perform well in the entrance tests. In early February, your child may receive an offer. Places should be accepted by the deadline in early March with a payment of a £2000 deposit.
