Northwood College Admissions Criteria
Northwood College is a member of the London Consortium and as such, follows its Agreed Code of Practice for all admissions. Year 7 is one of the college’s main points of entry and admission is determined by student performance in the entrance test.
Pupils are also required to attend an interview at the college. In this interview, the teaching staff will assess each child’s general intelligence and potential. Students must also be able to provide a character reference from their current school.

How to Apply for 11 Plus Entry to Northwood College
Northwood College hosts a small number of open events. These give students and parents the opportunity to meet the college’s Headteacher and view the Senior School on a normal school day. As places are strictly limited, you are advised to reach out to the school to book a place.

Northwood College Year 7 Entry, 11 Plus Assessment
Entry into Year 7 is now through a bespoke, two-part online assessment. Part 1 covers Mathematics, Non-Verbal Reasoning, English and Verbal Reasoning. Part 2 consists of problem-solving and analysis exercises.
There will be no written assessments. The Consortium has implemented this new assessment to identify pupils’ overall academic potential, alongside their critical thinking, analysis and problem-solving skills.
