Who is this pack for?
This pack is ideal for students preparing for 11+ exams that include multiple-choice English comprehension, especially in the GL Assessment format.
What are the key benefits of this pack?
Many students find comprehension questions challenging. This pack is designed to familiarise them with all of the question types that could come up in their exam:
– Recall
– Inference & Deduction
– Word Meanings
– Language Techniques & Imagery
– Types of Words or Phrases.
The tests in the pack use a wide variety of texts including fiction, non-fiction and poetry.
We’ve replicated the newer style of GL comprehension, with two passages per test. To practise the other possible format of one passage per test, you can check out Pack 1 here.
Answer sheets are included so your child can get used to marking their responses exactly as they will need to do so in the exam.
