Introduction
Frensham Heights School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school located in Farnham, Surrey. Established in 1925, Frensham played a major role in the movement for progressive education by being a coeducational day and boarding school since its foundation.
The broad curriculum includes science, English, maths, PE/games, history, geography, Modern Foreign Languages, computing, religious education, dance, drama, music and art. Activities outside the classroom include cricket, tennis, rounders, football, hockey, swimming, athletics and netball, as well as several alternative sports like karate, fencing and parkour.
Pupils also take on the challenges of the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, which provides them with the freedom to explore, investigate and experience, further supported by a number of residential and day trips to places like Polzeath, the French Alps, Barbados and visits to Frensham’s partner school in Malawi.
All of this and more enables Frensham pupils to operate in full alignment with the school’s motto Think, Create, Explore, whilst growing into curious and self-aware adults who exhibit strong artistic capacity to adapt to the rapidly changing nature of modernity.
