Introduction

Bloxham School, also known as the All Saints’ School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school in line with the British public school tradition. It is located in the village of Bloxham, Oxfordshire. It was founded in 1860 by Philip Reginald Egerton as a school of the Oxford Movement and has since become a member of the Woodard Corporation. 

Bloxham is a small school with big ambitions that fosters a strong ethos aiming to equip young people with the skills they need to become global citizens in a complex and ever-changing world. Bloxham employs an individualised approach towards each child’s learning style whilst fostering creativity and critical thinking.

The balanced curriculum reflects a challenging academic programme, grounded in inspiring curiosity, rigour and ambition. It comprises the core subjects plus art, biology, business studies, computing, design & technology, drama and theatre studies, economics, geography, government & politics, history, Latin, PSHE and many others.

The school is noted for its high standards in regard to the provision of Pastoral Care. Nurturing the well-being of all pupils is essential to the programme and is supported by trained professionals including doctors, Sisters, a Health Care Assistant and a Physiotherapist.

To ensure the enriching of pupils’ overall experience at Bloxham, a number of academic societies and clubs are on offer. From animal club and coding, to film society or scrabble, pupils engage in activities that enable them to enjoy their formative years to the fullest.

An extensive range of physical options for students looking for more sports-based activities is also available on campus. It includes the main sports such as hockey club, netball club or tennis coaching, as well as niche options such as meditation, fives or cheerleading.

Open Events for Bloxham School 11 Plus (11+) Entry

Whole School Open Mornings offer a fantastic opportunity to see the school via a guided tour and hear a talk by the Head. You will also have a chance to speak to the staff and current pupils during a delicious lunch.

As part of the entry procedure, your child will sit (paper-based) entrance examinations. During exam day, there will be plenty of relaxing activities and refreshment breaks included to ensure that they enjoy the time spent on campus.
