The London Consortium will no longer use the ISEB Pretest as part of their 11+ Entrance Exam. Instead, from 2022 onwards, the Consortium have introduced their own bespoke online test featuring a diverse range of topics.
This change in the examination process reflects the Consortium’s aims to place greater emphasis on testing critical thinking, problem-solving, analysis and synthesis skills.
The new assessment will last for 100 minutes and will include a break half-way through. It will consist of two parts. Part 1 will cover Mathematics, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and English Comprehension. Part 2 will assess Problem Solving and Creative/Analytical skills.
