NEW 11+ Maths Practice Tests (1-3) For St. Paul’s Girls’ School

Introduction 

 

We’ve just released three new practice tests:

 

11+ SPGS Maths Practice Test 1

11+ SPGS Maths Practice Test 2

11+ SPGS Maths Practice Test 3

 

These tests are specifically designed for students preparing for the 11+ St Paul’s Girls’ School maths exam in January. Each of the three practice tests contains unique questions that are pitched at exam level difficulty.

 

What is the format of the SPGS 11+ Maths Exam?

 

This SPGS maths test has a very specific format. There are some official sample papers available on the school’s website and we recommend working through those if you haven’t already. We’ve created mark schemes for these official papers that you can view here, here and here.

 

However, if you’ve worked through these already and are looking for further quality practice, our new packs will prove ideal.

 

Each pack consists of one full maths practice test covering Section A (25 minutes), Section B (25 minutes) and Section C (25 minutes). The school’s official description is as follows:

 

The mathematics paper comprises of a mixture of questions which are designed to identify potential. The paper has three 25 minute sections. The first section will feature questions that are fairly straight-forward ‘sums’, designed to establish fundamental arithmetic concepts are in place. The second section will cover questions which are more problem-solving in style and the third section may have multi-part questions; these questions will be based on material the students may never have seen before.

 

Our new practice tests replicate the format, design, layouts, timings and difficulty level of the actual exam so your daughter is fully prepared for anything that may come up on exam day. We’ve even included questions based on topics, themes and problems that have appeared in the actual exam in recent years.
