Who are these practice tests for?
These materials are specially created for students who will be sitting the 11+ Exam in 2023 for entry to the following Grammar Schools in Redbridge:

How will these practice tests benefit my child?
As you may know, the grammar schools in Redbridge have changed their exam format for 2024 entry onwards.
They have replaced the CEM exam with a new exam board called GL Assessment.
To help your child prepare for this new format, our practice tests are tailored to the timings, question types, and difficulty level of the new exam.
The upcoming Redbridge 11+ Exam will now be entirely multiple-choice and will consist of two papers:
Paper 1: English and Verbal Reasoning
This paper will evaluate the student’s abilities in English and Verbal Reasoning.
The entire duration of the paper is 60 minutes.
The paper will be divided into timed sub-sections, each of which will begin with instructions, samples and practice questions.
Paper 2: Mathematics and Non-Verbal Reasoning
This paper will assess Mathematics and Non-Verbal Reasoning, which includes Spatial Reasoning.
The total duration of the paper is 60 minutes.
The paper will consist of timed sub-sections, which will each begin with instructions, samples and practice questions.
Our practice tests include questions written by an actual GL Assessment question writer, ensuring they are as accurate as possible.
Some of the question types included are new and uncommon, and are not available in other practice resources.
While we advise working through the official GL Assessment familiarisation material with your child, it is crucial to note that these materials are generic and do not provide a precise representation of the Redbridge exam.
They do not reflect specifics of the Redbridge test such as timings, number of questions per section and the possible question types that could be included.
We’ve tailored our practice tests to specifically match the timings and layout of the Redbridge exam, including new question types which are not shown in the familiarisation material but may well come up in the exam.
This approach gives your child a competitive edge over their peers and increases their confidence when taking the exam.
The answer sheets in our practice tests replicate the format used in the actual exam, allowing your child to become familiar with the marking process.
Additionally, every question’s answers are provided, including category tags, which allows you to identify your child’s strengths and weaknesses, helping you maximise your revision time.
